Looking at today, Kwan Sheung Chi's wish has been obviously over reached. We could not forget this controversial and influential master of contemporary art scene.
A Retrospective of Kwan Sheung Chi, presented by the Hong Kong Arts Centre, is the first retrospective in Hong Kong of this creative and rebellious master's works, thoughts and life. The viewers could take a glimpse of Kwan Sheung Chi's art treasure through various media works and discourses shown in the exhibition.
Kwan Sheung Chi, born in 1980, Hong Kong. In 1999 He entered the Chinese University of Hong Kong to study Fine Arts. He is good at painting, Chinese painting, installation, photography, video, Chinese calligraphy, seal craving...etc. He participates in many art exhibitions and activities in a few years with flying colors. He is respected as the King of Hong Kong New Artist and also named as the Master of Ren Qiu Tai Chi.
